Afghan Skunk Feminised by Advanced Seeds is a robust, high-producing, and nicely-balanced indica/sativa. It has an aroma and flavour that are both as powerful as its effect.
Indoor growers should be aware that the Skunk genetics really make themselves known in the aroma of these plants. The smell can permeate a wide radius and be detected outdoors. Indoor setups will need ample air filtration and ventilation to keep the smell under wraps and outdoor plants should be grown far away from nosy neighbours.
Indoor plants grow to a medium to tall height, making them best-suited for cultivation in soil setups. Experienced growers will also have success in a variety of hydroponic setups. These plants flourish with a steady diet of nutrients, a perpetually pH-balanced substrate and normal light cycles - 18/6 during vegetation and 12/12 during flowering under 600W lights.
Outdoor growers will appreciate the resiliency of these plants. They stand up well to the elements, even early frost, and are naturally resistant to common pests and plant diseases. Harvest should begin around mid-October in the Northern hemisphere and can continue until widespread frost sets in. Average plants will yield harvests of as high as 400 g per square metre. Indoor plants average about 75 cm in height while outdoor plants can grow as tall as 300 cm.
The effect of the finished product is particularly potent and with a high THC content, it is no real mystery why. It produces a balance of indica and sativa-induced sensations, first filling the head with a mellow, cerebral stone, then adding a jolt of energising full-body high compliments of its sativa genetics. Both sides play nicely together and many users agree that this strain represents both parent varieties well.
