Blue Cheese (previously Blue Funk) is a popular marijuana strain in recent years.
It is a cross between two well-known strains, Cheese and Blueberry.
It was later crossed with an Afghani indica to boost yield and resin output.
Blue Cheese is a robust plant that stays short and stocky while producing exceptionally resinous buds in just over 8 weeks of flowering.
For a September harvest, yields are very strong, averaging 500 g/m2 inside and 600 - 900 g/plant outdoors.
The aroma is a little nasty, and the flavour is an odd combination of cheese and fruity elements.
THC production is fairly high at 20%.
Because it is 90% indica, the impact of this strain is incredibly calming and pleasant, making it great for cuddling up on the sofa and listening to your favourite music or watching your favourite TV show.
